Recorded live in just one afternoon with a single vintage 1937 microphone and entirely in mono, the album captures a raw, unfiltered atmosphere that instantly transports the listener to the Mississippi Delta and the early blues of the 1920s and ’30s. The album was awarded Best Dutch Blues Album 2018, by the Dutch Blues Foundation.
