Released in 2025, “Keep On Walking” marks the debut album of The Hokum Syndicate. Their sound draws you straight into the smoky bars of early New Orleans and the vaudeville theatres of the 1890s–1930s, blending original compositions with whimsical, biting, and sometimes nostalgic lyrics.

Taking cues from musical traditions such as Ragtime, Vaudeville, Delta Blues, Hot Club Jazz and Hokum, the band delivers a full-bodied style firmly rooted in the old but completely alive in the now. Bo Brocken (vocals, guitar, tenor banjo, harmonica), Rob Geboers (piano, accordion), Marco Oonincx (double bass) and Fokke de Jong (drums, percussion) work together to create songcraft that swings, tells stories, makes you laugh or think, and never loses touch with the soul of the blues.
